From a $500 Dream to Northeast Ohio's Trusted Detailer
I'm Levi Foss. I was born in Colorado, grew up in San Diego, and lost my father when I was 12. My mom's family moved us to Ohio, where I spent my teenage years before traveling across the country chasing different sales opportunities.
At 24, I was working a corporate sales job and got offered a promotion. But I felt God pulling me in a different direction. I received a vision to start a detailing business — so I turned down the promotion, took $500 to my name, and bought a Rigid shop vac, a Ryobi pressure washer, some brushes, chemicals from O'Reilly's, microfibers, and an extension cord.
That summer, I started detailing cars for friends and family out of sheer faith. Word spread fast. Within months, I was serving clients all across Northeast Ohio. I named the business Lucente — the Italian word for shiny — because our mission is to shine the light of excellence in everything we touch.
Today, Lucente Detailing has earned over 105 five-star reviews, multiple ceramic coating certifications, and a reputation built on integrity, hard work, and results. Every vehicle we detail is a reflection of the standard we set from day one: do it right, do it with heart, and never cut corners.
