SMS Terms & Conditions

1. Program Description

Lucente Detailing, operated by NE Ohio Mobile Detailing LLC ("Lucente Detailing," "we," "us," or "our"), offers an SMS messaging program that allows customers and prospective customers to receive text messages related to ceramic coating quotes, appointment scheduling, service updates, and promotional offers for auto detailing and paint protection services.

Our SMS program includes two distinct categories of messages, each with its own consent mechanism:

Service Messages

Required

Transactional and service-related communications directly tied to your inquiry or appointment, including:

  • Quote responses and pricing details
  • Appointment confirmations and reminders
  • Service status updates on your vehicle
  • Follow-up care instructions and warranty info

Promotional Messages

Optional

Marketing and promotional communications, including:

  • Seasonal specials and limited-time offers
  • Discounts and package deals
  • New service announcements
  • Referral promotions

These two message categories are governed by separate consent checkboxes on our website form, as described in Section 2 below.

2. Opt-In & Consent

You may opt in to receive SMS messages from Lucente Detailing through the following methods:

  • Submitting a quote request form on our website at lucentedetailing.com or any associated landing page
  • Texting a keyword (such as "QUOTE") to our business number (330) 839-2470
  • Providing your phone number and verbal or written consent in person, via email, or through other communication channels

By opting in, you confirm that you are the owner or authorized user of the mobile phone number provided, that you are at least 18 years of age, and that you consent to receive the applicable category of SMS messages from Lucente Detailing as described in these terms.

Service Message Consent

When you submit a quote request on our website, you are required to check the Service Messages consent checkbox in order to submit the form. This consent is required because we use SMS as a primary method to respond to inquiries and coordinate appointments. If you do not wish to consent to service-related texts, you may contact us by phone at (330) 839-2470 instead of using the online form.

Service message opt-in disclosure (shown on form): "I agree to receive text messages from Lucente Detailing regarding my quote request, appointment confirmations, and service updates at the phone number provided. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time."

Promotional Message Consent

Our website form includes a separate, clearly labeled Promotional Messages consent checkbox. This checkbox is unchecked by default and is entirely optional. You are not required to opt in to promotional messages in order to submit a quote request, book an appointment, or receive any service from Lucente Detailing. Opting in to promotional messages requires your explicit, voluntary action.

Promotional message opt-in disclosure (shown on form): "I also agree to receive occasional promotional offers, seasonal specials, and discounts from Lucente Detailing via text. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time."

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies depending on the category:

  • Service messages: Typically 1–5 messages per inquiry, depending on your service request and any scheduling follow-up needed. Message volume may increase during active quoting or scheduling and will decrease outside of active service interactions.
  • Promotional messages: Sent occasionally based on seasonal availability. You will never receive more than 4 promotional messages per month.

In total, you may receive up to 10 messages per month depending on your engagement with our services and your consent preferences.

4. How to Opt Out

You may opt out of receiving SMS messages from Lucente Detailing at any time by using any of the following methods:

  • Reply STOP to any message received from (330) 839-2470 — this will unsubscribe you from all SMS messages (both service and promotional)
  • Text "STOP" to (330) 839-2470 at any time
  • Contact us directly by calling (330) 839-2470 or emailing levi@lucentedetailing.com and requesting removal

After opting out via STOP, you will receive a single confirmation message stating that you have been unsubscribed. You will not receive any further messages from Lucente Detailing unless you opt in again.

Opting Out of Promotional Messages Only

If you wish to stop receiving promotional messages while continuing to receive service-related messages about your quotes and appointments, you may contact us directly at levi@lucentedetailing.com or (330) 839-2470 and we will update your preferences. Please note that replying STOP will unsubscribe you from all message categories.

Opt-out confirmation: "You have been unsubscribed from Lucente Detailing messages. You will no longer receive texts from us. Reply START to re-subscribe."

6. Message & Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Lucente Detailing does not charge any fees for sending or receiving SMS messages, but standard messaging rates from your wireless provider may apply. Check with your carrier for details on your text messaging plan.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

7. Supported Carriers

Our SMS program is compatible with most major U.S. wireless carriers, including but not limited to AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, and their respective MVNOs. Carrier support may vary. Carriers are not responsible for the content of messages sent by Lucente Detailing.

8. Privacy & Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Information collected through our SMS program — including your phone number, name, consent preferences, consent timestamps, and any vehicle information you provide — is used solely for the purposes described in these terms: delivering quotes, scheduling appointments, providing service updates, and (if you have opted in) sending promotional offers.

We do not sell, rent, share, or trade your phone number or personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.

We do not share your opt-in data or consent status with any third party except as required to operate our SMS program (e.g., our messaging platform provider, Twilio, which processes messages on our behalf and is contractually bound to protect your information).

Consent Records

We record the date and time of your opt-in for each message category (service and promotional) separately. These records are retained for compliance purposes and are available to you upon request. You may request a copy of your consent records by contacting us at levi@lucentedetailing.com.

9. Consent Not Required for Purchase

Your consent to receive promotional SMS messages is not required as a condition of purchasing any products or services from Lucente Detailing. The promotional message consent checkbox on our website form is unchecked by default and is entirely optional.

Consent to receive service SMS messages is required to submit a quote request through our online form, as we use SMS to respond to inquiries and coordinate appointments. If you prefer not to receive service texts, you may request a quote by calling us directly at (330) 839-2470 without opting in to our SMS program.

10. Changes to These Terms

Lucente Detailing reserves the right to modify these SMS Terms & Conditions at any time. Any material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued participation in our SMS program after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Governing Law

These SMS Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Ohio. By participating in our SMS program, you agree to these terms and acknowledge that any disputes arising from or related to these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located in Summit County, Ohio.
